eCoMove-ecoDriver Stakeholder workshop
- 04 Jun 2013Wicklow meeting room 1, Convention Centre Dublin, Ireland
Where do we go from here
The EC project eCoMove has developed cooperative systems and applications for eco-driving, eco-logistics planning and eco-traffic management. When combined, these can deliver up to 20% reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The EC project ecoDriver targets the same reduction by providing the right green driving feedback at the right time, through a dedicated multimodal human machine interface.
The evaluation of eCoMove solutions and their benefits is ongoing; so is the evaluation of ecoDriver HMI and feedback solutions, and both project teams will present early results and methodology, but most importantly, this workshop will be an opportunity to consult stakeholders on the future of these solutions, the roadmap for their implementation, and explore different deployment scenarios from technological, political and societal viewpoint, as a basis for scaling-up the results and performing a cost-benefit analysis.
